​They that worship God must worship God in Spirit and in truth. Much of what goes in many so called churches is not worship but the offering of strange fire. The God of the bible is not being worshiped today. Many churches preach a God that is weak and enslaved to the free will of man. God is sovereign and transcends man. Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up sitting on his throne. God is holy and we must give him the honor and glory due his name. God is Spirit and they that worship but must worship God in Spirit and in truth, John 4:24.

Bible Study

​

The bible says ​study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, 2 Timothy 2:15.

This is our goal at Sovereign Grace, comparing scripture with scripture to preach only what Gods word says and not the modern ideas of liberal churches. ​

​These (Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica were more noble in that they searched the scriptures daily to see if those things were so. Acts 17:11.

Don't take some liberal professor or preachers word, let the bible stand in what it says!

Importance of Church Attendance

And He (Jesus) came to Nazareth where he had been brought up: and as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. (Luke 4:16).
I was glad when they said unto me; let us go unto the house of the Lord. (Psalms 122:1).
Gather the people together, men and women, and children, and thy stranger that is within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn to fear the Lord your God; as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it. Deuteronomy (31:12-13).
